9-8-8 in New Hampshire
Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Community Listening Session
March 07, 2022 at 6 pm on Zoom
Why attend?
The new 3-digit number 9-8-8 will replace the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and will expand services so that New Hampshire residents can call/text/chat for support with their mental health, substance use, or thoughts of suicide. If you or someone you know has concerns about how to get help in NH, we need to hear from you.

You can inform the planning!
We want to learn from you what we need to be aware of and how to make this change work for all.
Please join us for a virtual listening session so that we can discuss the changes to NH’s crisis access and you can ask questions and raise concerns or provide feedback to inform planning in your state.
This session will be delivered in American Sign Language with a voice-over
interpretation and closed captioning through CART.
If other accommodations are needed for communication access, please contact
Jennifer Sabin at Jennifer.A.Sabin@dhhs.nh.gov or 603-545-2225 by
February 28th.
At least 5 business days advance notice is requested in order
to assure availability; requests made fewer than 5 days prior to the event
will attempt to be accommodated but cannot be guaranteed.
