The Exeter Public Library staff informed the ALDA Regional Director 1 Laura Sinclair, of an unforeseen circumstances, the library will be closed in entirety this Friday and Saturday. They regret any convenience caused to those who had planned to attend our Hearing Loop Community Room event Saturday morning.

ALDA (Association of Late-Deafened Adults) Seacoast NH Group invites you to experience full communication accessibility at the NEW upstairs Community Meeting room. Yes! This means you will be able to hear and see at your best everything that is being said over the public address (PA) system!!
- A perimeter induction loop allows users of telecoil in their personal hearing devices (hearing aids and cochlear implants) to receive all microphoned audio directly, alleviating distance and background noise as barriers to understanding a speaker.
- BOSE speakers throughout the ceiling make every seat a good one.
- Projection of Automatically Generated Captioning provides real-time captioning of every word over the microphone system.
- Bluetooth connectivity allows presentation of any media through the microphone system
Stop by either date to learn how you can engage fully in meetings and presentations once more despite a hearing loss. For those without personal devices, a receiver with a headset will be available.
ALDA is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that exists to provide support, advocacy, and outreach for Late-Deafened, Deaf, and Hard of Hearing, as well as their families.
