GNMHC Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Healing Support Group
February 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Greater Nashua Mental Health Center has created a Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Healing Support Group that will meet in the meeting room at Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at 56 Old Suncook Rd, Suite 6, Concord NH 03301.
We wanted to reach out to everyone considering the tragedy in Lewiston, Maine. Our minds and hearts are with all who have been impacted by the tragedy, including the Deaf Community. We are witnessing grief and pain locally. This exposure to trauma can impact all of us in different ways. We understand the impact this kind of trauma can have on ourselves, our friends and families. Some may feel anxious, others may feel sad or angry,
and others may shift from one emotion to another when we witness such overwhelming and collective grief – these are normal reactions to tragedy. It is important in times like this to remember to be kind and compassionate to ourselves and others while we continue working to meet the needs of our beloved community, who may need support.
Take care of yourselves and each other. Our community is stronger together. Bring snacks and drinks to share.
We will meet once monthly from 10:00 am – 11:30 am on the following dates: Jan 5th, Feb 2nd, March 8th, April 5th, May 3rd, and June 7th
Address: 56 Old Suncook Rd #6 Concord, New Hampshire 03301
