NH Voc Rehab open public comment sessions

NH VR is hosting two open public sessions for comments and feedback:

Vocational Rehabilitation Services in State Planning Process

 

It is the season for preparing Vocational Rehabilitation’s State Plan for 2024 – 2027.

 

The VR portion of the state plan is part of the NH WIOA Combined state plan.

As a core NH workforce partner, we are gathering public input for revisions of the state plan through January 5, 2024.

Two public sessions are scheduled for interested parties to provide input into the plan, one virtual and one in-person.

 

Attached is a flyer regarding the upcoming VR State Plan Public Meetings and Public Comment Period.

Please share this information with any interested parties.

We welcome all input in planning and improving vocational rehabilitation services in NH!

VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION STATE PLAN
VR New Hampshire (VRNH) is seeking public comments on the development of the Vocational Rehabilitation Portion of the NH’s Combined State Plan for program years 2024 – 2027.

The four-year State Plan represents agreement among the core partners identified in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and
serves as the framework for the development of public policy, fiscal investment, and operation of WIOA funded programs. VRNH is responsible for the VR Portion of this State Plan.

A draft of VRNH’s proposed state plan section is available for public comment from Dec 11, 2023 through January 5, 2024 and is posted online at https://www.education.nh.gov/vr
Comments will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024. Comments may be submitted in via email to: Ella.K.McAllister@doe.nh.gov
Alternative method of providing comment is through the public comment sessions or written comment mailed to Ella McAllister, 21 South Fruit Street, Suite 20, Concord, NH 03301.

Two Public comment sessions will be held to allow for input into the plan development. Written comments at the public sessions are desired.
Attendance at a public session is not required to provide input. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities by contacting Lynn.E.Littlefield@doe.nh.gov
